New top class performance Temperature Transmitters
with HART 6 Protocol and SIL 2 Compatibility

INOR introduces IPAQ C520 and R520, two temperature transmitters in the new generation
IPAQ Line. The transmitters have top class performance which gives high Measurement
Accuracy, Reliability, Safety, and User Efficiency.

 

High Measurement Accuracy

Top-class precision, Excellent long-term stability, Low temperature drift

The 520 has a basic accuracy for Pt100 of ±0.1 °C or ±0.05 % of span, and an outstanding 5 year stability of ±0.05 % of span. The temperature drift is limited to ±0.005 % of span per °C. By using the Sensor Matching feature, the total sensor/transmitter accuracy can be even further increased.

High Reliability

Dual Sensor Input, Sensor Drift Monitoring, Sensor Back-up, Robust design

The transmitters have double inputs for e.g. Pt100 or Thermocouple sensors.
The Sensor Isolation Monitoring and Sensor Drift Monitoring will detect degenerated sensors and thus avoid unknown measuring errors. The Sensor Backup function will strongly reduce the risk of losing important measurements by automatically switching over to a back-up sensor if the primary sensor fails.
Thanks to the extended vibration resistance of 10 g, the robust terminals with captive screws and the molded electronics, IPAQ C520 and R520 withstand the highest demands on industrial robustness.

High Safety

SIL 2, NAMUR, Ex Non-Incendive and Intrinsically Safe

Based on an assessment according to EN 61508-2 done by exida, the IPAQ 520 transmitters are
suitable for use in SIL 2 rated Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).
The error monitoring and information meet the NAMUR NE 43, NE 89 and NE 107 recommendations.
Both transmitters are available with Ex-approvals according to ATEX, and will be available with
approvals according to FM, CSA, IECEx and GOST.
The EMC immunity meets Criteria A performance, based on EN 61326-1 and NAMUR NE 21.

High User Efficiency

Easy configuration, installation and maintenance

The 520 transmitter is programmable either directly from a PC via a USB interface or by means of any HART communication tool available on the market.
IPAQ C520 has dimensions that allow easy installation inside a standard DIN B sensor head and IPAQ R520
is designed for space-efficient DIN-rail mounting with a width of only 17,5 mm.
The HART 6 protocol allows for extensive diagnostic information, e.g. sensor errors like wire-break,
short-circuit, low isolation and drift. The transmitter functions are self-monitored, and any possible malfunction will be reported.

IPAQ C520 and R520 come with a 5 year warranty.

ICON - Transmitter Configuration Kit with USB Communication

 

No more "Communication Error" with our updated USB configuration kit - ICON

ICON is a complete kit for PC configuration of all transmitters in the INOR product line, except for the Meso transmitters.

The kit contains the INOR USB Interface, transmitter cables and an updated ConSoft software.

Communication with the connected transmitter is established automatically. Forget the old problems to find a correct communication port in the PC.

Digital LED Indicator for EX-applications
LED-W11X

A new member of our indicator family is born. Now we introduce the ATEX-approved LED-W11X, which is a loop powered, Intrinsically Safe LED indicator for mounting in Ex-Zone 1 and 2.

LED-W11X is designed for field mounting and comes in a robust IP65/NEMA 4X housing. Pipe and DIN-rail mounting kits are available.
For direct input from a temperature sensor, an Ex-approved transmitter can be mounted inside the indicator.
Alternative installations are shown in Fig. 1 and 2.
