The IPAQ C530X and IPAQ R530X has now been FM approved according to the latest standards. This means that the products are now approved for the US and Canadian markets.

The biggest difference between the new certificate and the old one for MESO-H/-L is that the rail version IPAQ R530X now has an Ex-certificate and can be placed in an Ex zone.

The IPAQ 530X has also better Ex-data than MESO-H / -L, which means it can be connected to longer sensors and longer wiring.
